When Hazel finds a book that has been defaced in her store, she struggles to come to terms with the meaning. When another one turns up, she decides that maybe its time to enlist some help. That help comes from the local fisherman, Noah, who is dedicated to helping Hazel solve all the clues in his spare time. Not to mention that he has been in love with Hazel for months now.

This story comes alive as the two of them form a friendship that slowly blossoms into much more.
