Wildfire

I took a break after reading Titanic Survivors Book Club and read the summer issue of Oh Reader, which if you don’t pick that up on a quarterly basis and read it, I highly recommend. It’s a wonderfully curated magazine that is geared towards all thing books and book lovers.

Once I finished that, I turned to Wildfire by Hannah Grace and I’m so glad that I did. Wildfire is the second book in her Maple Hills series, the sequel to Icebreaker. Wildfire comes with the return of all your favorite characters from Icebreaker and focuses on a new relationship between Russ and Aurora. Their instant chemistry is something to get addicted to quickly and Hannah Grace keeps it spicy even when they unexpectedly arrive at the same summer camp to work their summer job as camp counselors. I found it difficult to put the book down and then got disappointed when I got close to the end of the book because I didn’t want the story to end.

One of my favorite things that Hannah Grace does in her Maple Hills novels is the final chapter is always a time jump forward into the future of the relationships between the two main characters. It’s so wonderful to see what she has planned for them.

I’m looking forward to reading the third installment of the Maple Hills series titled, Daydream, which you know I pre-ordered from Barnes and Noble and is set to be released on August 27th.
